The Story Behind Olive Roofing
Purpose Driven. Community Focused
Olive Roofing is named after our daughter, Olive—a little girl who has forever changed the way we see life, faith, and purpose.
Olive was born weighing just 3 pounds, 7 ounces. At only one month old while living in the NICU, she was diagnosed with Cri-du-chat syndrome (5p- syndrome), a rare genetic condition caused by a missing piece of chromosome 5. It affects an estimated 1 in every 20,000 to 50,000 babies born worldwide, making it one of the rarest chromosomal conditions.
Today, at 18 months old, Olive continues to amaze us every day. She may be small, but she is one of the strongest people we know. She faces every challenge with courage, determination, and a joy that’s impossible to ignore. Her smile lights up every room, her personality is larger than life, and she reminds us daily that every person has immeasurable value and purpose.
She is beautifully unique. She is deeply loved. And she is the heart behind our name.
Olive Roofing was founded by two families who share a deep commitment to faith, integrity, and serving others. From the very beginning, our business partners embraced Olive’s story as their own. They have stood beside our family with unwavering support, believing that this company could be about more than roofing—it could be a way to make a lasting difference.
Together, our vision is to build more than quality roofs. We want to build trust, serve our community with excellence, and use this business to raise awareness for families living with Cri-du-chat syndrome. Through fundraising, community partnerships, and giving back, we hope to shine a light on a condition that many people have never heard of while reminding every family that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
When you choose Olive Roofing, you’re supporting more than a local roofing company. You’re partnering with two families who believe that business can be a force for good—one built on faith, compassion, and a desire to leave every home and every person better than we found them.
“Olive has taught us that strength isn’t measured by size, and purpose isn’t limited by diagnosis.”
